2021.09.23 08:57 CarnageLukas Moondrop SSR electrocuting problem
Hello Reddit! I bought a pair of Moondrop SSR in the silver colorway approx a month ago and have been using it since then. However, a week after purchasing it, I’ve been experiencing some electric shocks/electrocution from it, especially on the left side of the SSR. Has anyone encountered this problem with the SSR before? If so, could anyone give me some advice? Thank you in advance!
Note: I did plug the SSR into the PC headphone jack, and it did not work at all, so I had to plug it in the monitor. When I plugged it into the monitor tho, it started electrocuting.

2021.09.23 08:57 suburiboy Notice that people are criticizing the mechanics from both sides(too much neutral vs not enough neutral)?
I was noticing recently that people were complaining about how the game has too much guessing, that it has too much layered RPS and 50/50 mixups. Not enough neutral.
Prior to release there was a ton of complaint that the game was too slow, that there was no oki or set play. Too much neutral.
Have GoldLewis and Jack-O changed the game that much? Are different people complaining from either side or the same people? Is the a consensus on how people generally feel?
Personally, GoldLewis has taught me how fun it is to give oki and them down. I’m a noob, so grain of salt, but I think the mechanics are pretty good.

What's the best way of installing java sdk in fedora that's worked for you?
Edit: I've tried using dnf,yum and even tried installing manually. Each time I install and check the version using java -version,I get bash:java:command not found.
How do I fix it?
Thanks in advance

2021.09.23 08:57 Wizardman784 4th Level Ocean Cleric ASI
I've recently joined a heavily modified Saltmarsh campaign and decided to try out a totally new class (for me): Cleric. The DM pointed me to an Ocean domain, which I liked well enough, and decided to play an unwilling pirate whose ship was destroyed in a storm, whereupon he drowned. Then he woke up on an island (where he met the party) with strange powers that frightened him.
Stat wise I ended up rolling so-so. Not bad by any means, but nowhere NEAR as good as the other people in my party, who all ended up with 1-2 18's and one stat around 6. I don't mind, but it does bring a concern up regarding my ASI. Currently I am sitting at 14, 12, 12, 8, 16, 10 in order, and after modifiers.
The campaign is roleplay heavy, with combats always being somewhat important when they come up, and always being tough. But combat won't necessarily happen OFTEN, depending on the circumstances.
So last night, we hit level 4 and I have some concerns about my ASI. Obviously, I could boost my Wisdom to an 18. Solid choice, and it would put me more in line with my party members who all have higher stats.
Or I could take Lucky. See, this campaign uses Crit cards and Fumble cards, which I enjoy (I have no idea where the DM got these cards, but they're super cool and never TOO brutal one way or another) so it's important not to get crit and not to roll 1's. I also received a special ability recently that, among several potent benefits, has some drawbacks: namely, after the 1-hour duration, I have to make a Wisdom saving throw of 10. If I fail, I get a Short Term Madness. If I roll a 1 on that save, it's a Permanent Madness. Obviously I REALLY want to avoid getting any form of permanent madness, but the ability is too cool for me not to use every so often.
I feel (in and out of character) fairly lucky. I was the only survivor of the wreck, I have managed to get several nasty crits on enemies that SHOULD have killed me were it not for their poor dice rolls and my solid ones, and so on. I feel like I have a justifiable in-character reason to take a feat that I've never taken before, but one that I understand to be quite good, ESPECIALLY in a campaign like this where 1's and 20's really matter.
The way I see it: It's better to get hit than to get crit, and if they miss that's even better. It's better to miss than to critically miss, and if you hit, that's great! It's better to fail the big Wisdom save than to roll a 1 and go mad, but it's REALLY nice if you can turn a critical failure into a success.
But I don't want to feel like I've fallen TOO far behind, you know? None of my spells right now rely on saving throws, but eventually I want to grab Tidal Wave, Spirit Guardians, Maelstrom, etc, which will rely on my Wisdom. Is a 16 enough to get me to level 8?
So, I'd appreciate some insights! I'm not necessarily looking to hardcore optimize, since it's an RP heavy game, but I also want to feel as if I am making a good, well-thought-out choice as well.

2021.09.23 08:57 DemiserofD Wiktionary listing 'boni' and 'bonusses' as alternative plurals of 'bonus'? I always thought of it as a reputable source, should I re-evaluate my opinion?
As far as I know, even in latin, the correct conjugation plural form of 'bonum' would be 'bona', not 'boni'. I've never heard of 'bonusses' anywhere, and can't find any reference to it, either.
I never gave much credence to the fact that wiktionary was crowdsourced, but if they let such obvious flaws slip through, what else am I getting wrong from there that I don't realize?
I'm open to being corrected if I'm wrong, but barring that, I'll probably avoid it in the future.
